Marigolds
Native to Central America and Mexico, marigolds were exported to the rest of the world by early explorers. Marigolds are easy to grow and perform well in the mid to late summer garden. Seeds should be planted in warm conditions.
 (Tagetes patula) This is the tall classic marigold type that produces lots of 3-5 inch fully doubled flowers on tall plants. Will bloom from the second half of summer into autumn. Plants are very fragrant with finely cut foliage. 2-3 feet. Most/full sun, 25+ seeds/pack.  |

 (Tagetes erecta) Native to Central America and Mexico, marigolds were exported to the rest of the world by early explorers. This is the native species type from Oaxaca, Mexico traditionally and still used in Day of the Dead celebrations. Impressive - reaches 5 feet and will be covered with single 2 inch blooms that are loved by butterflies with a strong marigold fragrance. Most/full sun. 4-5 feet. 15 seeds/pack. |
