Spider Flowers - Cleome
Like a very slow fireworks display, the blooms of spider flowers (or Cat's Whiskers in the South) perch on top of tall, multi-branching stems leaving spiky seed pods behind. The overall effect is a beautiful display and a bed will return year after year once established. Blooming from mid-summer through first frost, Seeds should be planted in cold conditions.
