(Centaurea cyanus) One of the first flowers brought to the US from Europe by early settlers, Cornflowers or Bachelor’s Buttons were used for their tolerance of tough conditions and usefulness as pretty dried flowers. The blue shades were traditionally used as boutonnieres. This is a mix of blues, rose, pink, and white. Long blooming and gorgeous! 18-24 inches. Full sun. Annual. 50+ seeds.
